Steve Turner
Steve Turner is an English music journalist, biographer and poet, who has spent his career chronicling and interviewing people from the worlds of music, film, television, fashion, art, and literature. He regularly contributes to newspapers such as The Mail on Sunday and The Times and his many books include Imagine: A Vision for Christians in the Arts, Popcultured: Thinking Christianly About Style, Media and Entertainment, Hungry for Heaven: Rock and Roll and the Search for Redemption, U2: Rattle and Hum, Van Morrison: Too Late to Stop Now, and A Hard Day's Write: The Stories Behind Every Beatles Song. Originally from Northamptonshire, England, Turner?s career as a journalist began as features editor of Beat Instrumental where he interviewed many of the prominent rock musicians of the 1970s. His articles have appeared in Rolling Stone, Mojo, Q, and the London Times, and he has also written several poetry books for both adults and children. He lives in London with his wife and two children.

Mike Tenbusch
Mike Tenbusch is the CEO of Uncommon Solutions, LLC, a consulting firm helping urban schools, churches, and impact organizations create strategies to improve conditions and outcomes for kids. Born and raised in Detroit, he has had a life-long calling to make Detroit a better place to be a kid and to raise a family, and he served as chief impact officer for United Way in Southeastern Michigan as part of his twenty years of leading change in the city. A graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, Mike co-founded Think Detroit (now Detroit PAL), an organization that now serves 14,000 children each year. He also served on the Board for Detroit Public Schools, helped a charter school district graduate more than ninety percent of its first high school class, and created a plan and led the effort to turnaround the city's most challenged high schools. Named one of Crain's 40 under 40 in 2008, he launched a training center for young people in partnership with best-selling author, Mitch Albom. He and his wife, Maritza, live with their three children outside Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Walt Mueller is president of the Center for Parent/Youth Understanding based in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. He holds a doctorate in ministry to postmodern generations from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Walt speaks regularly to churches, public school groups and at conventions such as Youth Specialties. His other books include Ministry to Families with Teenagers (Group) and Understanding Today's Youth Culture (Tyndale).

Sandra L. Barnes (Ph.D., Georgia State University) is assistant professor of sociology and African American studies at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Her scholarly work has been published in The Journal of African American Studies, Research in the Sociology of Health Care, Social Problems, Journal of the Interdenominational Theology Center and Journal of Black Studies. She is the author of The Cost of Being Poor (SUNY Press).

Gary Tyra
Gary Tyra (DMin, Fuller Theological Seminary) is professor of biblical and practical theology at Vanguard University of Southern California. Formerly the chair for the department of religion at Vanguard, Tyra also has over twenty-five years of pastoral experience including his last position as senior pastor at Yorba Linda Community Church in Yorba Linda, California. Tyra is the author of The Holy Spirit in Mission, Christ's Empowering Presence, A Missional Orthodoxy, Beyond the Bliss and Defeating Pharisaism, as well as numerous published papers and articles. He and his wife Patti have two grown children and reside in California.
