145 women attending the 2014 National Women's Conference June 27-29 in Orlando submitted reflections on faith and work and twenty-five were chosen to attend a special dinner at the Hilton Orlando on June 27 hosted by TGC's Every Square Inch and Kathy Keller, and sponsored by InterVarsity Press/IVP Crescendo. The special guest speaker was Jen Pollock Michel, author of Teach Us to Want: Longing, Ambition and the Life of Faith.

In launching these lines, IVP plans to serve both industry gatekeepers and end readers in a more targeted and effective way. Praxis will launch in fall of 2012 while Crescendo is scheduled to launch in spring of 2013.

David C. Steinmetz, one of the world's leading Reformation scholars, died last week on the evening of Thanksgiving. He was the Amos Ragan Kearns Distinguished Professor Emeritus of the History of Christianity at Duke Divinity School. He was also a member of the editorial advisory board of InterVarsity Press's Reformation Commentary on Scripture (RCS).
