It was another successful year for InterVarsity Press at the annual Association of Logos Bookstores convention and awards ceremony. InterVarsity Press won awards in three categories: Author of the Year, Best Book in the category of Christianity and Culture, and Best Book in the category of Spirituality. The awards ceremony took place in Atlanta on June 22 at the start of the International Christian Retail Show (ICRS).
The 2013 Leadership Book Awards results are in, and InterVarsity Press is pleased to announce that In Search of Deep Faith by Jim Belcher won top honors, being named "Best of the Best" in the category of "The Leader's Inner Life." InterVarsity Press (IVP), a leading publisher in thoughtful Christian books, announces the launch of two new imprints—Praxis and Crescendo—designed to reach two of its most influential audiences: ministry leaders and women. In launching these lines, IVP plans to serve both industry gatekeepers and end readers in a more targeted and effective way. Praxis will launch in fall of 2012 while Crescendo is scheduled to launch in spring of 2013.

InterVarsity Press author Carolyn Weber was one of the featured authors at the Canadian Christian Booksellers Association retailer event Summer in Paris on August 6 at David C. Cook Distribution in Canada. CBA retailers from Canada had the opportunity to spend a summer day in Paris where they gained great ideas for engaging with the churches in their communities, were introduced to up-and-coming Christian worship leaders and engaged with Weber and Christian fiction author Sandra Orchard.
