InterVarsity Press partnered with Hearts & Minds Books of Dallastown, PA, to host the launch event on May 16 for Michael Card's new book in the Biblical Imagination Series, Matthew: The Gospel of Identity, and the accompanying CD, Matthew: The Penultimate Question. Nearly two hundred people filled the Living Word Community Church in Red Lion, PA, to hear from "classy/casual acoustic musician (and smarty-pants author) Mr. Michael Card," as described by Hearts & Minds Books owner Byron Borger.
David C. Steinmetz, one of the world's leading Reformation scholars, died last week on the evening of Thanksgiving. He was the Amos Ragan Kearns Distinguished Professor Emeritus of the History of Christianity at Duke Divinity School. He was also a member of the editorial advisory board of InterVarsity Press's Reformation Commentary on Scripture (RCS).

Luke: The Gospel of Amazement and its companion CD, Luke: A World Turned Upside Down, are the first of four books and CDs in a series that invites readers and listeners alike to enter Scripture the way Card has done for years—through the imagination.
