Meic Pearse
Meic Pearse, originally from Britain, now lives in Croatia and the United States, where he is professor of history at Houghton College in Houghton, New York. He studied history and English at Swansea, University of Wales, and management studies at the Polytechnic of Wales. He took his M.Phil. and D.Phil. in ecclesiastical history at Oxford University. For more than a decade, he was involved as part of a team establishing a new church in Swansea. He has also made pipe valves in a German factory, served as a tax collector in local government, taught business studies at a Jewish school, taught history and economics in a Quaker institution, and lectured in church history in Britain and the Balkans. Books he has written include Between Known Men and Visible Saints, The Great Restoration, Who's Feeding Whom? and We Must Stop Meeting Like This. He has articles published in Church History, Anabaptism Today, Third Way and other periodicals.

Greg Ogden
Greg Ogden (DMin, Fuller Theological Seminary) lives out his passion of speaking, teaching, and writing about the disciple-making mission of the church after spending twenty-four years in pastoral ministry. Most recently Greg served as executive pastor of discipleship at Christ Church of Oak Brook in the Chicago western suburbs. From 1998 to 2002, Greg held the position of director of the Doctor of Ministry program at Fuller Theological Seminary and associate professor of lay equipping and discipleship. Greg is also the author of Essential Guide to Becoming a Disciple, Transforming Discipleship, Leadership Essentials (with coauthor Daniel Meyer), and The Essential Commandment. He is a partner in the Global Discipleship Initiative (GDI), which trains, coaches, and inspires pastors and Christian leaders to establish indigenous, multiplying, disciplemaking networks, both nationally and internationally.

Phil Jackson
Phil Jackson is associate pastor of Lawndale Community Church and pastor of The House Covenant Church, an all youth and young adult hip-hop church in Chicago. Phil also trains and consults youth leaders in urban communities across the country through Bringn' dafunk Communications, Inc., a ministry he founded to change the way the gospel is communicated to youth. Phil and his bride, Kim, have three fantastic teenage children.

More than one hundred people came through the Johnsen & Taylor bookstore in Wheaton, Illinois, on January 29 to celebrate the launch of the Biblical Imagination Series from award-winning musician and author Michael Card, published by InterVarsity Press. Luke: The Gospel of Amazement and its companion CD, Luke: A World Turned Upside Down, are the first of four books and CDs in a series that invites readers and listeners alike to enter Scripture the way Card has done for years—through the imagination.
