Preaching Magazine included two InterVarsity Press titles on its list of "Ten Books Every Preacher Should Read." The books were Christ-Centered Biblical Theology: Hermeneutical Foundations and Principles by Graeme Goldsworthy and Delighting in the Trinity: An Introduction to the Christian Faith by Michael Reeves.

The list was part of a larger article, "The 2012 Preaching Survey of the Year's Best Books for Preachers," by R. Albert Mohler Jr., president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Andy Le Peau, associate publisher for IVP, said: "For generations InterVarsity Press has been offering solid resources for preachers. So of course we're pleased to see two of our stellar books recognized in Preaching Magazine’s top ten books. Graeme Goldsworthy shows us how robust biblical theology is done while Michael Reeves not only makes the deep doctrine of the Trinity understandable but inspiring and transformative. These are great options for any preacher's reading list."

Christ-Centered Biblical Theology was number four on Mohler's list. He wrote: "Interestingly, Goldsworthy covers some issues and subjects not addressed in his previous writings. That alone makes this volume worthy, but the volume also serves as a helpful primer to biblical theology."

Delighting in the Trinity was number ten on the top ten list. "One of the strengths of this volume is its practicality and accessibility," wrote Mohler. "One of the most exciting aspects of this book is Reeves' skill in helping readers understand what it means to enjoy God and understand the doctrine of the Trinity to be a demonstration of 'the beauty, the overflowing kindness, the heart-grabbing loveliness of God.'"

Mohler also recommended Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi in the InterVarsity Press Tyndale Old Testament Commentaries series by Andrew E. Hill, as well as two volumes edited by D. A. Carson in the New Studies in Biblical Theology series: A Mouth Full of Fire: The Word of God in the Words of Jeremiah by Andrew G. Shead and The God Who Makes Himself Known: The Missionary Heart of the Book of Exodus by W. Ross Blackburn.
